It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you a wonderful friend, Laura Clark Beery. Laura recently returned to the Cape Fear region from Italy. Her husband Dana serves in the United States Navy, which has allowed their family the opportunity to live in and visit many places worldwide.
Laura has some experience in the water as well, swimming competitively in Wilmington and later serving as captain of the swim team at College of Charleston, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication. Laura’s passion for being in and around the water serves her interest in real estate well. When her husband was stationed in Hawaii, she attained her master’s in Business Administration.
While completing her studies at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, she managed property that she owned and oversaw the renovation of a house where she and her family once resided. In addition to that, she delved into some other interior design projects on the island.
As her husband’s station changed to Italy, she took the opportunity to travel with her family throughout the entire European continent. Exposure to the different cultures was instrumental in her decision to pursue a career in real estate now that her feet are planted in the place that she has always called home.
Laura’s experience with her family’s many moves and assistance of other military families throughout the world make her an asset to her clients as they purchase new homes and prepare the logistics of their own transitions. She enjoys researching neighborhoods and community resources throughout the region as Southeastern North Carolina continues to grow, and her upbringing and knowledge of the Wilmington area make her a valuable informant to her clients.
